VIDEO – Kan Yu: the Way of Heaven and Earth

Have I ever told you about my friends Connie Sanchez and Ricardo Peralta Castillo?

They are fellow Feng Shui practitioners in Mexico who, like me, are students of Joey Yap.

Earlier this year, they created an amazing video that helps you understand what it is we do as Feng Shui experts. I’ve been dying to show it to you but decided to wait till they produced an English language version.

Why is it amazing?

Well, aside from the stunning visuals, it describes the type of Classical Feng Shui we all practice without even mentioning Feng Shui.

How do they do that?

They do it by referring to Feng Shui in the video by its ancient name of Kan Yu – which translates to The Way of Heaven and Earth.

Kan Yu is the study and mastery of the universal life force (Qi) that all people have and use (consciously or not) to create their reality.

And this further implies the knowledge of Yin and Yang – the knowledge that all living things maintain an intimate interaction with their environment, in which each part influences the other – so, there is a mutual harmonious influence between the environment and all living beings.

The Way of Kan Yu guides us to rediscovering this harmony and allows us to use it to accomplish what we want. The Way of Kan Yu allows us to understand and thus free our life force: Qi.
