The close of a month signals transition.
The close of January, the first month of the new year, signals a time for critical reflection. Have you felt especially introspective lately? Maybe New Year resolutions are gnawing in the back of your mind, maybe the cycle of seasons has you feeling restless.
Whatever the sensation, it can be redirected into much more productive energy, and fill you with clarity, rejuvenation, and promise.
Energy radiates through every aspect of our lives. Energy is present while we browse on our phones, catch up with an old friend, or push through a project at work. These energies impact our feelings, choices, and opportunities — even if we don’t always notice! Any given space’s flow of energy, is influenced by its Feng Shui. And each new year – this year will be the Year of the Pig – brings a new energy too.

As we choose different paths in life, different desires and ambitions, we may need different Feng Shui arrangements. For example, one home may need more regimen while another needs more flexibility. For me to best help you determine the Feng Shui needs of your home, we need to explore your unique path and your unique aspirations. By assessing the energy currently in your life and home, and the energy you wish to attract, the Feng Shui process can begin.
The purpose of Feng Shui is to collect energy that will support your goals.
As energy enters your home, it flows like a river through your space, settling and bubbling around the structure’s layout and objects. And like a river, it can be difficult to redirect its path. Feng Shui provides insight into what kind of energy exists in your home, where it will flow, and how we can best use it to make the most of our days.
As we unearth beneficial areas within your home, I would recommend increased use of that space. To help activate the space’s energy, you can engage in certain activities, keep it brightly lit, and decorate with thoughtful intention. From there, I can orient you to the directions that would be most favourable for exposure to the right energy.
For those who have yet to choose their home, or are perhaps building their home, my Feng Shui work can be present in even more aspects of your space. I work with architects or builders to decide the most optimal place for doors, windows, bedrooms, and common areas: creating a plan that will guide your energy flow from the ground up.
In addition to adjusting the spatial energy of your home, I offer insights into the timing of energy. Energy waxes and wanes, much like the tides of the river or the cycle of the moon, signaling times of change or caution. I have helped clients find success using carefully timed energy, determining the best time to travel, get married, sell their house, or ask for a promotion.
Remember, we are the ultimate conductors of energy in our lives.
Be intentional with your goals and actions, and you will be an active participant in the energy around you. Feng Shui relies on timing, location, and, most importantly, you to successfully route the energy of your home and reach your aspirations.
