I am thrilled to be included in Ron Nyren’s article “Building in Harmony with Surroundings” for the Urban Land Magazine. The publication is produced by the Urban Land Institute, a nonprofit, multidisciplinary real estate forum that focuses on research and education. They represent the entire spectrum of land use and real estate development disciplines working in private enterprise and public service.
The article touches on many of the influences of Feng Shui on development in the Vancouver area pointing to the fact that Feng Shui is not just about what goes on in your house. Feng Shui is about how to harness the beneficial Qi that moves through and among buildings in relationship to the natural land formations, like the ocean and mountains of Vancouver, to provide optimal situations for entire communities and cities.
