The Year of the Water Tiger is coming. Are you ready?
2022 is the year of the Water Tiger. All the metaphysical systems that I use, Western and Eastern Astrology and Tarot point to this being a significant year. We are not out of the woods yet by any means, however, the potential for inner growth and ultimately enlightenment has never been greater at least not in my lifetime. Something new in each of us is wanting to be born, but we all know the birthing process is painful. So what does that mean?
Let me share a little of the insights as seen in Chinese Astrology for 2022. Every year a chart is drawn reflecting the energy of the upcoming year. The exact point is always on or one day on either side of Feb. 4th. This yearly chart reflects the midpoint between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox.
As you can see from the chart, the energy is unbalanced. Three Tigers, lots of water and wood, no metal, some fire but hidden in what we call the branches, and the Earth is Weak. The water is big and is deep. There is an aspect we call Fu Yin, there is another called strong 7 Killings. What does this potentially mean? Many things. This energy reflects an overall global energy, such as the weather, is it raining? Yes, you will need an umbrella. However the yearly chart, also interreacts with each of us individually, indicating what areas of your life you will be experiencing – the so called potential rainy weather.
For all of us water represents our emotions and is associated with the element of fear, indicating next year is a year with a lot of emotions. I am not sure exactly how that will pan out as the chart does not indicate illness so much or more covid. The chart indicates fear, lack of trust, people and governments being dishonest. Earth is the element associated with Trust. It is very weak next year. I expect events to happen that will make us question who we trust, and we will all to some degree question our fears.
However, let’s look at the bigger picture. We need to remember, we are conscious beings. We are co-creating with the world (remember the Heaven, Earth and Man philosophy that is at the heart of Chinese Metaphysics and other spiritual teachings). We chose as souls to be here on earth as this time. We are here to learn and raise our vibrations. When we remember this, the whole picture changes. We work with the Yin as well as the Yang. We are part of the energy co-creating this world. The lessons now are; What are you taking responsibility for in your life? What are you creating for yourselves and others? Do you know how to manage your emotions? Do you know how to ground yourself? Are you kind? Loving? Many unconscious beliefs and patterns will be revealed next year, the trick is to see this as a gift for transformation.
2022 is an excellent year for Self Awareness.
Stop finding solutions in the outer world and look within. We study astrology to increase our awareness, we use Feng Shui to make adjustments as needed. The Yin and the Yang meet and create the middle path, the way of the Tao.
2022 is the year to be authentic, grounded and more spiritual. Everyone says they want to be more spiritual, but not everyone does the work.
