Welcome April – Dragon Month, Dragon Year, Eclipses and more
| Dear Friends, Hello April – Dragon month! On April 4th in Monkey Hour, we officially entered the Dragon Month. The portal of double dragon together with the eclipse on April 8th, marks a key time and is inviting us all to change and new beginnings, whether we consciously want it or not. The energy of this month holds the potential to shape our paths for the next 18 months – 6 years. However, it’s important to note that this is not fated – our choice in how we align to this energy now will impact the paths we will walk. Destiny is a conscious choice. Whether you follow Western Astrology or Chinese Astrology, the message remains the same. This is a time of transformation. As an astrologer for more than 40 years, I have never seen a month like this before. The portals to higher consciousness and moments of truth are open. Portals are believed to facilitate transitions or connections between the physical world and the spiritual realm. They are seen as opportunities for spiritual growth, healing or accessing higher states of consciousness and a time of self-discovery and expansion. As we journey through this, trust and a bigger perspective are required. For me, I believe the Universe is friendly. I believe that all things that happen to me in my physical existence in this lifetime are ultimately for my soul growth and to raise my vibration to a higher potential. Having said that, life may not be easy. I too find challenges hard at times, but I know without a doubt that they are the fertile ground for evolution. All energy is connected, we know that – we are not separate from the whole or oneness of the universe. Ancient scholars of China conceptualized the theory of the Cosmic Trinity which provided a holistic understanding of the universe and humanity’s place within it. In essence, together Heaven, Earth and Human formed a relationship of interconnectedness of all tings in the universe. This concept is proven today in Quantum Physics with the principle of entanglement. The universe is not separate from us, we are co-creators of all that happens in our lives. All the events that are happening now and in recent past years are giving us the opportunity to raise in consciousness. When we reflect on this, consider what lessons you learned. When Covid was in full swing – what did you learn? Did you become more fearful or more loving? Why is raising our consciousness important? All energy is connected. You and I are the change that creates a better world or not. The opportunity this month is to take an honest look at your conditioned thinking / beliefs and then consider choosing differently this time from your heart. As we continue to move forward into Period 9, the age of fire, allow the energy of April to expose your fears, anger, and judgement and ask yourself – Why did I choose this? How can I choose differently? What is this showing me that I need to heal within myself? Set the intention to choose from an open heart. Be grateful for the opportunity to be shown these things so we can better ourselves. When it comes to relationships, this month will particularly show us where we are unconscious and stuck. Expect revelations or new information, new ways of being and new pathways to be revealed. Traumas and wounds that we inherited from our ancestors and all our lifetimes will present themselves to be acknowledged, released, forgiven, and healed. This is a powerful time to transcend and move into the next chapter of our healing journey. The Dragon month and the eclipse both point to events that will unfold in order to move us into higher states of consciousness. Trust and allow yourself to be guided rather trying to control everything. And BE THE CHANGE you want to see in your life. Embody kindness. Be loving. Be supportive and help others.
